Four Days Live session on Emotional Intelligence | Each Day 2 Hours of session. What will you Learn Self Awareness- Basics - Exercise to create self awareness. This exercise opens the participants to the possible range of emotions, examining ones own emotions and learn to describe them. It also encourages you to think of ways to get to a target emotion, such as happiness. Self awareness- Application - 2 Case studies, one for giving feedback and the other for receiving feedback. These case studies will be then debriefed with the learning being that only if we are aware of our feelings can we move to the next step of self -regulation. The case study on receiving feedback is aimed at getting participants to welcome feedback , even it is from hierarchical juniors and is negative. Self Awareness- Action points - Facilitator will bring up possible actionable and participants will create specific measurable and time-bound action plan that is expected to raise the level of their own self awareness Self Regulation - Basics- why does self regulation break down and what to do when it does. Facilitator led discussion Self Regulation - Application - Live examples (role plays) will be used to highlight issues that can exist and how the outcomes of those situations will be different, if the principles of self regulation are used. These principles are knowing ones values, holding oneself accountable and practicing being calm Self Regulation-Action points and evening learning opportunity - Facilitator will bring up possible actionables and participants will create specific measurable and time-bound action plan that is expected to raise the level of their own self regulation. Stress tolerance- basics - Examining the concept of stress, and why stress occurs. AV on stress and managing it. Assessing one's own resilience through exercises
Stress tolerance- Application - Identifying stress situation, using 5 Whys to get to root cause , finding one's own points of stress and discovering ways to increase tolerance, ultimately aiming to progress in life through equanimity leading to more peaceful life Stress Tolerance- Action points - Facilitator will bring up possible actionables and participants will create specific measurable and time-bound action plan that is expected to raise the level of their own tolerance. Empathy- Basics - The first level of empathy begins with "listening". Exercises on improving listening skills will drive this part of the programme. Empathy- Applications - Participants will learn about applying "Perceptual Positions" that enables ones ability to see through others' eyes to increase. Role play driven session will enable skilling on this area of EI to be done Empathy- Action points and closure - Facilitator will bring up possible actionables and participants will create specific measurable and time-bound action plan that is expected to raise the level of their own empathy. The programme will close with a high energy exercise of commitment to change
